GDN Airport Services possesses all necessary certificates and licenses to perform handling services at Gdańsk airport (Airport Handling Agent Certificate no. PL-7H/09 issued by the Polish Civil Aviation Authority).
MISSION AND VISION
Our mission and vision is to be the airline's Ground Handling Agent of choice not out of necessity.
GDN Airport Services' quality policy and aim is to adjust to the needs of our clients as well as to meet their future expectations and to provide our services at the level comparable to other acknowledged ground handling agents in the world.
As a handling agent, we are a crucial element in the functioning of airports and airlines. Therfore we are aware of the need for constant development. To meet our partners' needs we invest in our staff and the newest technologies.
We value a blend of experience and youth and the aim of each employee is high quality of provided services and satisfaction of our clients.
Operational safety and protection against acts of unlawful interference are priorities of GDN Airport Services day-to-day activities. The Board of Directors and the Management of GDN Airport Services approve of and support the pursuance of continuous improvement of the safety culture in the Company. All employees of GDN Airport Services shall make every effort to protect the clients and themselves from health damage and the equipment from physical damage.
IATA GROUND HANDLING COUNCIL (IGHC)
GDN Airport Services is a member of IATA Ground Handling Council - an international organization of airlines being a member of IATA and ground handling agents from various parts of the world. Membership of IGHC ensures not only access to new practices recommended by IATA but also an opportunity to have influence on standards both in the field of handling agreements, as well as in the ground handling services.
IATA SAFETY AUDIT FOR GROUND OPERATORS (ISAGO)
In December 2009 as the first handling agent in Poland, GDN Airport Services had successfully passed IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operators covering safety, security and quality issues. Thereby we recieved the ISAGO Certificate confirming our commitment to operate to globally accepted industry best practices.
GDN Airport Services was placed in the ISAGO Registry as one of 5 GSP's in Europe (31 GSP's worldwide).
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
In 1997, GDN Airport Services was the first company in the aviation industry in Poland which incorporated and certified a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9000 standards.
Recently, GDN Airport Services received a certificate of ISO 9001:2008 issued by LRQA (Lloyds Register Quality Assurance).
The quality system is a guarantee for our customers and passengers that our services are compliant with the highest standards and procedures and also a constant quality improvement.
