Before air travel, every passenger has to be checked-in. You have to find the appropriate check-in counter marked with your airline logo, destination airport, flight number and scheduled time of departure. At the check-in counter your boarding pass will be issued and your luggage will be checked-in. Our check-in staff will inform you about the next steps.
2. What are “General Terms and Conditions” (GTaC)?
These are the rules for passengers travelling with a particular airline. GTaC are usually part of an agreement between the passenger and the airline. GTaC may differ from airline to airline. Buying a ticket means accepting the terms and conditions.
3. Where can I find GTaC?
General Terms and Conditions can be found on the airlines’ web sites. Basic information can also be obtained at the sales points.
4. What do I need to be checked-in?
You need a valid ticket issued by the airline (if it is an electronic ticket, you should be in possession of a confirmation printout). Also, it is the passenger’s duty to check if there are any visa or any other requirements to enter the country you are travelling to.
5. What is the check-in opening time?
Check-in opening time depends on the airline you are travelling with. Information regarding check-in times is given in the General Terms and Conditions
6. What is the check-in closing time?
The same rules apply as in point 5. After the check-in closure, no passengers can be checked-in. If you find yourself in this situation, please proceed directly to the appropriate ticket desk to obtain information about the possibility of a reservation change. In some cases it may be possible to book the next available flight, but please be aware that such changes are usually not free of charge.
7. What is „registered baggage”?
It is the baggage that is checked-in, weighed and labelled at the check-in counter. The carrier remains responsible for this baggage for the duration of the trip.
8. How many kilograms can I take in my luggage?
Every airline – in the General Terms and Conditions, describes limitations regarding registered baggage. Usually limitations relate to the weight of the baggage. Depending on the airline, excess baggage (or even registered baggage) may be subject to additional fees.
9. How big can my hand luggage be and how many kilograms?
Limitations of hand luggage relate to weight and measurements of such baggage. You cannot take more kilograms than stated in GTaC of your hand luggage even if you want to pay for it. If your hand luggage is bigger or weighs more that allowed, you will have to check it in and it will be subject to all additional fees related to registered baggage.
10. Where can I ask more questions?
If you have any questions regarding General Terms and Conditions, additional fees etc., you should contact your airline call centre or check the airline’s web site.
11. Where can I find some help at the airport?
You can ask for assistance at the airport information desk where our staff will be happy to help you with any problems.
